We all have been there at on point or another. Where things are so desperate that you can't deal with the circumstances. So you go running to God in prayer.
Hannah was at this point. If not beyond. She may have been her husband's favorite wife. Yet the other wife was her nightmare. Hannah was under constant attack by her. All because Hannah was barren.
Hannah was driven to the point that she couldn't eat. Bitter and to the point where she couldn't take it anymore. Hannah made her way to the temple.
She sought to be closer to the God. The temple where His presence was. She knew He could hear her there. Even as she wept and prayed to herself, she knew He could hear her.
Like Hannah we can go to God and He will hear our cries of desperation. Unlike Hannah we don't have to go to the temple for Him to hear us. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Whith the veil to the Holy of Holies being ripped from top to bottom when Jesus died. We have permission to approach God anytime we need to. Jesus made the way for us by His death on the cross.
