FIVE GOLDEN RINGS!!! These five rings are the first five books of the Bible known as the Pentateuch, the Law of Moses. Each one of these books point to Jesus. When people start reading through the Bible they usually are fine with Genesis and Exodus, then they reach what some call the Bermuda Triangle of the Bible, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.
Genesis, the book of first, the beginning. In it we see creation, man falls to sin, the promise of the coming Messiah through the Seed of a woman, the first murder, God establishing a line in which the Messiah was to come and His protection over that line in keeping it pure and that it survives.
Exodus, the line that God saved in Genesis is enslaved by those who didn't know their history. God raises up a savoir among them through Moses. Moses points us to Jesus in that we are enslaved to our sins and we need a Savoir.
Leviticus, the Law, pointing out that no matter how hard we try we can't be perfect and keep the whole Law that God set up. We all fall short because of sin, we miss the mark. We see the sacrifice and priestly roles that point to Jesus.
Numbers, shows the direction of God and His guidance. It shows us the importance of walking with God. It points to Jesus as our Director and Leader.
Deuteronomy, it is the second giving on the Law. It is like God saying, "I told you once, I've told you twice..." This is God instruction manual on how to live a victorious life in the land of blessing. Jesus is seen in the restoration of Israel. What does 29:29 say about God, us and the Law?
