Just think of the impact that she could've had if she would've been a support for Job. All we know is what she said that one time. Yet when God restored Job the Bible is silent about her. It doesn't say that he had a different wife. It only says that he got to see he great grandkids.
True she didn't sing the song, "Stand By Your Man". Instead she wanted and end to the nightmare she was in. By doing so she became an example of the wife we are not to be.
What if she had Paul's letters to read? She would've known that in 2 Corinthians 1:3-5, that we are to take what we learn from God in the hard times and encourage others with what we have received from Him.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.” NKJV
She missed out in being a Titus 2 women. Surely she was in need of some of these ladies to pour into her life at this point of time.
“that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,”
Titus 2:4 NKJV
We all need to surround ourselves with women of all ages that we can pour into their lives and they can pour into ours. Wether it is for spiritual leadership, cooking, some one to turn to when you need someone or just to go on a girls night out.
We all have others that are watching us as an example for their lives that we may not be aware of. What type of example do you want to be?
