Welcome to More Than Just Coffee
In this high caffeinated world there is something more important than coffee that we need to survive day to day. So grab a cup of coffee, tea or your favorite beverage and let's spend some time together getting to know the one person that loves us the most, God. He loves us so much that He gave us a book of love letters to read, the Bible. We will take a book verse by verse, chapter by chapter and study it. We will also do topical studies as to what God has to say about things that pertain to life and living as He wants us to live.
MTJC not only stands for More Than Just Coffee, it also stands for Must Trust Jesus Completely. That is my desire to encourage women that through book studies and topical studies it is my desire to encourage women into a closer relationship with Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Even when life is at it's darkest, by trusting Jesus at His word are we able to make it through. The hard times.
There are several verses that are key to MTJC.
First is, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 NASB). Even when times have been hard by trusting Him with what I had no clue in He has always shown me what to do.
The second verse is, "So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth." (Hosea 6:3 NASB). By knowing God through reading the Bible can we develop the trust in Him.
Thirdly, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer;" (2 Corinthians 1:3-6 NASB). What we learn, what we receive from God when we go through the trials of life we need to share them with other so that we can encourage them in their time of trials.
Together we can encourage each other in what we have received from God as we grow closer to Him by being in His Word daily.
